  Amina, who is originally from Pakistan, already had a Masters degree and a strong background in research but she was keen to undertake a postgraduate degree in the UK to build on her skills and experience.

  Amina said: “I was particularly interested in undertaking a postgraduate course that would help me improve my interpersonal skills such as critical thinking, leadership, flexibility and communication, whilst also focusing on learning research-related modules. Regardless of your field of expertise, I believe that having strong research and transferable skills is essential for finding a good job.
