This course prepares you to become skilled managers and practitioners in the financial services industry.
You’ll develop expertise in practical trading systems and emerging financial technologies, such as blockchain, AI, and machine learning.
Through hands-on learning, you’ll improve your technical, conceptual, and analytical skills.
A key feature is the “Trading Room” environment, where you’ll use the London Stock Exchange (LSEG) Workspace to analyse actual market data like a financial trader.
You’ll also learn to solve real-world financial problems and create accurate financial models, equipping you for the challenges of the complex financial markets.
This course can be studied full-time over one year.
As this is a modular programme, you must study and pass all six modules to complete your master’s degree.
A master’s degree requires a higher level of independent reading and research than an undergraduate degree.
A range of teaching and learning methods, including lectures, seminars, and group work, will be used to encourage you to develop intellectual and cognitive skills. All methods will employ, to some extent, features like didactic exposition, interactive sessions, research, and directed private study.
