Graduates of the M.Arch. program are prepared for professional licensure and careers in architectural design, urban planning, sustainable design, and related fields. The program emphasizes both the artistic and scientific aspects of architecture, equipping students with the skills to address complex design challenges. The culturally diverse Memphis and Mid-South region serves as an urban and non-urban issues laboratory, providing students with practical experience in a variety of contexts. ​
