Bachelor of Science in Biology

​Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Biology program at Christian Brothers University (CBU) are well-prepared for a variety of career paths in the health sciences, research, education, and environmental fields. The program offers a robust academic foundation with personalized advising, small lab class sizes (not exceeding 16 students), and opportunities for internships and mentored research projects. Students have conducted significant research at institutions such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the University of Memphis, and the Memphis Zoo. These experiences equip graduates for further studies in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, nursing, physical therapy, as well as careers in teaching and environmental consulting. ​
