  • IELTS of 7.0 with no individual band score less than 7.0 (can be across 2 sittings in a 6-month period, but no score can be below 6.5 and overall score must be 7 in both sittings)
  • PTE - Applicants must achieve a minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

Bachelor of Nursing intended learning outcomes

  • Exhibit inclusive and responsive professional nursing practice that respects individuals from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity to culture, values and beliefs.
  • Critically review and analyse professional nursing practice and other information to synthesise knowledge to advance the profession both individually and as a community.
  • Employ evidence-based frameworks to inform systematic and comprehensive person-centred health and wellbeing assessment in partnership with people across a variety of health care settings.
  • Participate in or lead collaborative practice in intra-professional and interprofessional teams to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Demonstrate therapeutic communication strategies in professional relationships with people, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate ability to pursue ongoing professional learning and development for self and others through feedback, reflection, and action.
  • Appraise and monitor the health and wellbeing of self and others and revise practice as needed.
  • Employ assessment data and evidence to develop, document and modify evidence-based person-centred care plans in partnership with people across a variety of health care settings.
  • Demonstrate safe nursing practice in various health settings that is professional, accountable, ethical and legal, underpinned by a sound knowledge base as identified in the NMBA standards, codes and guidelines for practice.
