MSc Accoutning and Finance
- An overall IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent), with a score of no lower than 6.0 in any of the four elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
This one-year MSc programme will equip graduates with all the skills necessary to enter the ever-changing world of Accounting and Finance. Complex developments in the field require employers to look for graduates who are adaptable and confident in their knowledge, and UWS London strives to prepare their students for this throughout the programme.
You will not only gain insight and awareness into the contemporary issues facing this industry, but also learn how to apply financial and accounting skills in a practical context, as well as how to use established research techniques to create and interpret data.
Additionally, this programme allows you to gain a critical understanding of the theory and practices of accounting and financial management. All modules are designed to begin with a refresher of the basics before moving on to more advanced issues.

- Use professional software tools to build income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
- Explore the business strategies of an organisation
- Examine areas of financial management that help support business strategies, such as forecasting and working capital management
- Understand the philosophical and sociological context of business ethics and corporate social responsibility
- Analyse policies and practices in contemporary business organisations
- Carry out detailed research on business-related issues
