Graduates of the B.S. in Civil Engineering program at the University of Memphis are equipped to pursue diverse and impactful careers in the engineering sector. The program prepares students for roles such as structural engineers, designing and analyzing buildings and bridges; transportation engineers, focusing on the development of highways and traffic systems; geotechnical engineers, assessing subsurface conditions for construction projects; and environmental engineers, working on pollution control and sustainable design.
